Marvin and I enjoyed having his family, some of his cousins, and a few friends over to celebrate Marvin's birthday on Sunday night! It was quite the party. We put three tables together on our porch and set out our placemats and new dishes! We started out the time with some scripture and prayer and a few words from Marvin's mom and then continued the celebration with food and fun! We served baked tortilla chips with cream cheese dip and bean salad for appetizers, a big salad and amish bread with honey/cherry butter, Santa Fe Stuffed Chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed carrots for the main course, watermelon, and strawberry cake for dessert!!
I am so thankful for my dear husband and that God would bring him to this world and bless the world and me with a man like him. He is such a joy to be around. He is constantly dancing and singing, laughing and making jokes. He constantly blesses me here at home by helping with dishes, sweeping, mopping, and really anything. Twice this month i have been sick, and he cleaned the entire house while i slept off my sickness. He is so big and strong, yet so soft and tender. He has such a big heart. Something I love about him is that when he prays for me, he puts his hands on my head and shoulders and showers me with blessings. There are no words to describe this man, only that he is wonderful, and I am so thankful to call him my husband! Praise the Lord for his life!
