My Provider is Compassionate

Recently the Lord has been ministering to my heart and showing me His compassion, His provision, and His empathy toward me. As I was reading Hebrews 4:15-16 today as part of my Bible Study homework, I took a moment to stop and wonder in what way Jesus went through the same feelings I have gone through on my journey with my family`s paperwork. I also wondered how He has shown me compassion through the process and provided for my needs even when I was feeling like I was lacking. It is neat what came to my mind!! I was reminded about how He was rejected and treated not only rudely, but hatefully by His own people to the point of them crucifying Him! I have no doubt He can understand my emotions of feeling like I`ve been treated like a foreigner in my own American embassy. He was treated much worst than me. I am sure my little feelings pale in comparison to the rejection He felt! I was also amazed to realize that He allowed MY long residency process to finally come through to allow me to stay in Honduras right in time the year before Michayla was born. He provided for me to be here with my daughter without having to leave the country without her! Maybe I have been wanting meat instead of manna in this desert, but His provision is now clear to me. He truly is good and compassionate! He has also shown His compassion by drawing me closer to Himself throughout this time and showing me things about myself that I needed to deal with. We praise the Lord for His goodness and provision all along and now thank Him as we can finally announce that Michayla`s birth certificate was finally corrected. We will be heading again to the Embassy soon, so continue praying that He will work on our behalf, but that ultimately He will be glorified in whatever way He chooses through this process.
