In Him We are One: First Mother's Day

Being a mother has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I feel so incredibly blessed and at the same time, amazed at how such a little person can change my life so drastically. We are so in love of our Michayla. She makes us laugh so much, and we really can't imagine life without her now. It is so much fun and at the same time, a continual learning experience and at times, exhausting! I really had no clue about so many things! I am daily guessing at what to do and hoping I am making the right decisions. I am humbled as I realize what a great task it is to raise a person and daily feeling at a loss. I have so much I feel I still need to figure out and wonder if I WILL ever really figure it out! And then I wonder how I will ever manage many kids at once someday in the future! I am just trusting that His grace is sufficient in my inefficiency and so grateful for the gift of bringing life into the world. Michayla is one of the greatest treasures of my heart, our little princess and little sweetheart. My first Mother's day was very special. We took Michayla to Sigua to meet many family members for the first time. Marvin was so sweet and spoiled me with gifts and a delicious lunch. I have so much to be thankful for-so thankful for our wonderful mothers, so thankful for my sweet little family-my dear husband and precious child, and above all else, thankful for my God and His grace upon my life.
