The Scoop with Michayla

Michayla really couldn't delight us more! She is cuter and more hilarious every day! This last week has been especially fun! She is getting to a stage where she is very easily entertained, very pleasant, and very happy! Her little personality is really coming out! This pillow is a new favorite that her Tia Yessica gave her. She can sit by herself in it, recline in it and have some tummy time on it. I am really enjoying every minute with her. Her laughter fills our home with joy all day long. We are just starting to slowly teach/help her to fall asleep by herself, and she is doing great! We are going the "no tears" method like Gaggy did with us, but putting Michayla in bed drowsy every time she goes down for a nap to give her a chance to fall asleep by herself.

She loves to listen to music before going to sleep. She has also fallen into a really great bedtime routine and loves to go to bed at night! She goes to bed between 6:30 and 7 and often sleeps through the night! She broke record last week when she slept a 10 1/2 hour night without waking up! Yahoo! Currently one of Michayla's favorite places to be is outside in the hammock. We are now spending a LOT of time outside. She also loves to take walks around the neighborhood in her stroller, and she LOVES her car seat (thanks to Uncle Josh and Aunt Natalie for giving her such a great one!). She also seems to love grocery shopping in her car seat. She is getting softer and rollier by the day! We love her rolls and have to make an extra effort to get real well under her double chin when bathing her. (-; We are so thankful to have her in our lives and are loving this stage with her! I really wish she would never grow up!
