Funny Memories

Generally, Michayla sleeps very well at night. She wakes up to eat, but goes right back to sleep. However, last night(or, more correctly, this morning) after eating at 3am, she was more interested in playing than in sleeping. When Daddy started to hear her complaints getting louder and louder as I tried to pat her back to sleep, he decided to help me out and walk her around a little. He turned on the light in the living room, and she was happy again-even at her young age, she seems to know that there is an association between sleep and darkness, so she must have thought she was free to stay up! An attempt to turn the lights back off resulted in renewed complaints, so Daddy decided to put his little princess in the big recliner and try to rock her back to sleep. She was sacked out within four minutes he tells me! Seeing her little body in such a big chair cracked him up so much that he decided to take some pictures (at 3am) of Queen Lopez on her throne to show me this morning. He even put up the foot rest for one of the pictures! We are treasuring the sweet and funny memories of this wonderful stage.
