Youth Camp 2012

Marvin and I had the privilege of leading the youth of our church on an amazing youth camp this past weekend. The goal was to get away from everyday life and spend some time focusing on God and bonding with one another. We had been planning and coordinating since the beginning of the year and anticipated wonderful things from the Lord, but we were really blown away at how special the time was and so grateful to see God's hand at work in so many hearts and situations. We were so encouraged to hear the testimonies of so many people who the Lord touched and the many prayers of spirituals warriors at our church were so evident to us as everything went even smoother than we could have imagined. God is good, and to Him be the glory. Pastor Gilberto, our conference speaker, really challenged our youth to live lives of holiness, to mark the difference in their generation and flee from immorality. We were so thankful for the extraordinary team of leaders we took with us! The Lord really used them to minister to the youth in their groups. We were also so thankful for the amazing cooks that went along with us and did an amazing work in the kitchen! In all, our group totaled 132 people! We are all already looking forward to next year's camp! (-;
