Easter in Guatemala!!

What a blessing to spend Easter Day with Kara and Luis!! After starting the day out with Challah bread and coffee, we were blessed by a wonderful Church service in memory of Christ's resurrection from the grave. After church, Marvin and Luis chatted over appetizers while Kara and I prepared our Easter meal. Kara made some beautiful Resurrection eggs for after the meal, and we spent some time remembering Christ's week of the Passion and a great time of prayer. We had a fun outing in the afternoon to see some of Guatemala city. I had anticipated this trip to Guatemala for so long! What a blessing to see a little glimpse of Luis and Karas' life! We are so thankful for them and for all that the Lord is doing in them. Our trip was way too wonderful and way too short!
