Hairdressing!

I am constantly thanking the Lord for giving me the skill of hairdressing and for using my parents to pay for my education in this field. A week doesn't go by where I don't touch someone's hair, and even though I am not currently working full time in this field, I continually have the opportunity to exercise my creativity in cuts, colors, and styles. It's a skill I use in the city and in the boondocks of Balfate. It's a skill I take with me on my trips to the States and, really, anywhere else I travel to for that matter. It's a skill that I can use to make money and also a skill I can use to save money (our money and my family's money!) This has been a way the Lord has continued to be faithful to us and provide for our needs by constantly supplying me with clients. I am constantly doing new people's hair and stretching myself by learning more and doing new things.
Recently, though, I decided to try my hand at highlighting my own hair! I cut my own hair sometimes, but had never colored it myself. Marvin was quite the helper! He actually did a lot of the back by himself! (-; Another recent adventure was giving my sister-in-law a purple peek-a-boo bang and a couple purple highlights. It was her first time to color her hair! She loves it, and it looks great! (-;
Like I said, I am constantly thankful for the Lord's blessing, His grace, and His creativity given to me in this area of my life...
