I recently had the privilege of sharing the Christmas story with a group of 6-grader girls. Alejandra, our niece, had never fully heard and understood the Christmas story as, I think, some of her other classmates at school who we invited to come. We had a delightful time together decorating bags, cookies, and talking about wonderful spiritual things. They are full of questions and imagination, but have also been confused by what different people have told them about God. I hope to have the opportunity to continue to share the message of Christ with them and help them to understand His love and sacrifice for them.
That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. John 17:21
